Day 125 - was unremarkable

Barcaldine to Ifracombe 82km

I don't have much positive to say about today.

We woke up, it was cold and overcast.

We rode 82kms along a boring, straight road.  It was cold, overcast and windy.

We took one photo, this is it.

We arrived in Ifracombe cold, wind blown and enjoyed a shower and a cuppa.

It's still cold, overcast and windy.  Looking forward to hiding in the sleeping bag.

Tomorrow will be better.

  1. It will. You are about an hour and a half from Longreach. Will be LOTS of grey nomads there! Grey and 12 degrees tops! in Ferntree Gully today so I will be having a day by the fire carefully sewing Scout badges onto Harry's scout uniform top. Josey and family escaping Vic next Thursday for Hamilton Island for 5 days - getting in a before-school hols break and of course, catching up with her best friend Kathryn from school.
